Spent a few months hacking around and building Generative AI apps and games. Autocodepro.com (prompt2code), AlphaCTR.com (YouTube thumbnail generator based on a finetuned stable diffusion model), Godinabox.co (GPT inside WhatsApp), overpoweredcardgame.com and a few more. I built these for fun and to learn everything I can about the space and possible opportunities. The apps cumulatively have over a million users.

My thesis is that generativeAI will transform the skill of writing code into a baseline skill required in all jobs, similar to what English is to many jobs in India. With 100x, I backed Sid and team to go out and teach people to engineer for the AI era the right way — with outcomes and placements in mind and without an overt bias on programming languages — it may one day get abstracted to just English :) EdTech is notorious for bad actors, but I made the call because this team genuinely cares about the people they’re teaching.

Community software used by some Indian banks, stock broker platforms, insurance companies, and EdTechs. Examples include uNext, Financewithsharan, Ankur Warikoo, and plenty more. Raised a small seed round in 2020. Our original goal was to build a profitable social media company out of India. While we did get users, monetizing them at scale turned out to be an insurmountable challenge.

Good old services company writing code for businesses across the world. We also had a penchant for running a lot of experiments using the scientific method of hypothesis, experimentation, observation, repetition. We had a high failure rate across our product experiments with some wins here and there. However, we learned a lot!

This is my engineer with 10 years of experience. And this is our security guard, who has never written a line of code in his life. Can someone who’s never coded, but has the best vibe coding tools, beat an engineer using the old methods? The guard can’t type, so we installed @wisprflow and told him to just talk. He described what he wanted in his own words, and Wispr Flow turned it into clean, usable prompts. If you can explain an idea out loud, you can now build with it. The tools have gotten good enough to catch edge cases and write the spec for you. But knowing what a form is, or why something breaks, still matters. Vibe coding gets you further than ever. Understanding is what gets you the rest of the way. Who do you think won? Comment below

This GitHub repo is quietly blowing up because it lets your AI agent reverse engineer any app, without the source code. It’s called REA, it’s free, it runs on your own laptop, and it has already crossed 130,000 stars.

This is Build What Moves India, where 10 teams were selected from 13,694 applications to build solutions for real problems around public services in India. The teams built everything from an AI-powered cybercrime reporting system and a blood donor matching platform to tools for tracking government spending, verifying land records, applying for visas, filing business forms, and navigating government websites. Each team gets 10 minutes to pitch their idea, followed by questions from the judges. The judges then have to decide which projects are actually useful, practical, impactful, and possible to implement quickly. Watch the entire video to find out who actually won and why. But more importantly, you’d also learn why the others didn’t win and what you can learn from it.
